I have just finished yet another 14 hour day and have sat in front of my pc with a beer then decided to see if anyone else that runs their own business feels drained, exhausted and flat.  This seems to be my case.  

I have been a chef for 18 years now, started out on my own three years ago with two of us...now we have 20 staff and yes the business is doing very well I just can&#039;t get the life/work balance quite right though.  I work so much (80+ every week)I haven&#039;t the time for a relationship, which I think everyone needs.  So should I be another successful statistic who gives up because they long for a touch of normailty or do I plod on, make my money and sell the brand and the business in a few years and then try to start the life I should have at the moment.  The one I should have whilst  I run my business.

Maybe I need to decide if I want the money or the life...age old question I suppose.

anyway I need a refill...I&#039;m back in in a few hours.
